The Tava’e Foe Family has been organising and running reunions since the 90’s. These have been run with the intention of gathering the Aiga of Tava’e Foe and Asoiva Fiamatai to strengthen family ties, equip our members to excel, teach our unique family history and share the faith they held.
Our 2022 Reunion theme is Identity: Faasinomaga. We will be discovering what it means to be a descendant of Tava’e Foe, a Samoan, a Pacific Islander, in our fast-paced world where identity can often be left behind. We invite you to explore with us our heritage: the values, traditions, culture, and artefacts handed down by previous generations.

Peter Snell Youth Village offers 27 acres of gorgeous New Zealand bush and parkland, thriving with native bird life, just 45 minutes from downtown Auckland. It overlooks the stunning waters and islands of Mahurangi and accesses a secluded rocky shore and large sandy beach.
It’s the perfect spot to host our reunion as there are two independent facilities. Their recently refurbished Dearsly Cottage sleeps 32 and is self-catered with its own meeting hall. The Peter Snell building sleeps 88, is fully catered by professional chefs, and has a separate meeting / recreational hall with PA, data projector and chairs. By combining the two facilities, they can cater for up to 120 people.
Peter Snell Youth Village also offers a whole range of activities, from the easy-going orienteering, frisbee golf, trampolines and hobo stoves to the adventurous archery, air rifles and initiative course. Or there’s the downright adrenaline-fuelled 60m water slide, outdoor climbing wall, slingshot paintball and hill tobogganing.
